My first art project was to introduce myself to the class with things that describe me. The background is my foot traced out onto blue paper because blue is one of my favorite colors and I love the water. The next thing that sticks out is the picture of my siblings and I. I am the oldest of four children and my siblings are a pretty big part of my life, that is also why the picture is significantly bigger than other objects.
Next is the piece of paper and a pencil. I really enjoy school and all the things I am learning about. The paper and pencil also represent the fact that I want to be a teacher. I absolutely love kids and teaching them new things! Then you will see the name 'Toby', that is my dog. He is a little yorkie that I treat like my little child. I have had him for 6 years and he is a great little dog.
Then the last few items all kind of go together. I have a clipboard and an ASC banner. This represents the fact that I am a swim coach, and it is another passion of mine. I really enjoy teaching all the little kids everyday and seeing them improve. I have been teaching for almost 8 years and its the greatest job ever! Lastly is the swim cap and goggles. I am also a swimmer and have been since I was 9 years old. I enjoyed swimming so much that I even swam at NSU for 5 years! Its a great sport and it has taught me more than just swimming skills.
So when you look at this foot it describes me and all the things that are important to me! :)
